The night before...

Here is a picture of my HUGE belly the night before our son's arrival. Our little boy stayed cozy in Mommy's belly and missed his due date (April 30). My induction date was set for May 1st if he had not arrived by then. Even up to my final week, I was experiencing lots of aches, pains, and some strong contractions, but nothing was happening.

Alain and I were packing our "last minute" things for the hospital. We also took some pictures of my (last pregnant) belly, when all of the sudden, we had a mishap with our ONLY camera. Alain set it on a tripod, so that we can take a picture of us together. Well, he accidently tipped over the tripod sending our poor camera to the ground. The lens jammed and the view finder was blurry and out of focus. It was a goner!

It was around 11pm and Alain called Walmart to see if we could buy a camera this late. They said yes, so out the door he went. He came back with a decent camera. Thank goodness!

Natalie the climber

We have been lucky that Natalie (now 19 months) was not climbing onto furniture and things...until now. I noticed Natalie trying to climb on top of the coffee table. I told her "no," but she later did it again. I grabbed our camera and started taking pictures so that I can show Daddy later what Natalie had learned to do. Natalie had no idea I was taking pictures around the corner until she was on top of the table. BUSTED! Again, I said "no" and then took away her step stool so she will not do it again. Natalie got upset, but Mommy won this battle ;)

Uh oh! There's Mama!

Natalie's toy stroller

Since Natalie loves to push and play with her own stroller, I bought her a toy stroller. She likes to put her baby doll in it and pushes it around the house.

Lowe's lil' customer

I thought this video was pretty cute. Last month, we went to Lowe's to buy a ceiling fan replacement and some garden plants. As you can see on the video, Natalie enjoyed helping Daddy push the shopping cart around the store. Daddy's idea, of course :-0

Easter Egg Hunts

EGG HUNT I
This was Natalie first official Easter Egg hunt this year. She did remarkably well! It also helped that Daddy taught her a few practice rounds at home ;-)

On Thursday, Natalie's daycare did an egg hunt for the kids after school. Natalie's age group class went first. As soon as it began, Natalie went straight for the eggs. It was so cute!!!

Natalie and her friend Savanna having a great time hunting and sharing their eggs together.

EGG HUNT II
On Saturday, our city held their annual Easter Egg hunt. We wanted to check this one out with Natalie, too. However, this one did not go as well. 1) It was very windy and a little cold, 2) There were way too many people, 3) It was supposed to start at 11am, but they were running late and many kids were getting impatient and cranky including Natalie, 4) It's over in less than 2 minutes, and 5) It took 30 minutes or longer to get out of the parking lot because of traffic.

Natalie not happy. She could not wait to get started.

Video: Daddy takes Natalie out to the field to hunt for eggs.

As you can see, it was too crowded! We may skip this one next year!

Shop and Play at the Galleria...again!

Once again, Mommy and Natalie goes shopping at the Galleria. Nordstrom's children's department usually gives a balloon away to their little customers :-)

Natalie is well-behaved out of her stroller which is so nice. She walks and stays very close to Mommy and Daddy.

After Mommy gets some shopping done, we stop by the indoor jungle playground so Natalie can play.

Natalie is finally able to climb and stand on top of some of the animals. Yay Natalie!

Natalie had a fun-filled day!

Daddy's girl

This is usually how it is....as soon as Daddy comes home from work, Natalie loves to hang out with her Papa. She always asks me, "where's Dada?" all the time!

They were playing and watching Sesame Street together.

Natalie loves to hang out with Mommy, too!!!
