'Tis the season...Holiday Party and Christmas Parade

Friday night, Alain and I attended his company holiday party at the Omni hotel. After a nice dinner, they had a "white elephant" Christmas gift exchange. There were some bad gifts (even some regifting of presents from 2 years ago!). The most popular gifts were lottery tickets, a fuzzy slipper foot massager, cosmopolitan martini set/shaker, etc. We ended up with a bottle of Chardonnay, cigars, and a Christmas ornament.

On Saturday, we took Natalie to her first Christmas parade in our little town. It was a very cold night but we bundled her up in many layers! We also met up with our good friends, The Dugans, whose daughter, Julia, was going to perform at the Town Center. Natalie enjoyed watching all the lit-up floats and marching band as they went by. A few times, she clapped her mitten covered hands.
